Modifications to Ratfink: I ground off the hands and forearms from his rump then filled the openings created. I used the hands from the Mothers Worry kit as they seemed to be the most monster like. Both hands were reshaped to fit the block of cheese and mallet. Forearms were made from sheet plastic sanded to shape. Bumps and warts were made from five minute epoxy. I used Testors paints for all colors and a fine marker for the hair. The Block of cheese was made from sheet plastic and the mallet was carved from balsa wood with a wooden dowl handle. Finally drool was made from Five minute epoxy Base: The base is from an art supply store stained and varnished to look like some old floorboards in a house. The trap is a Rattrap from a hardware store. I smashed it with a large hammer then glued it to the base. Ed signed the base for me while attending a car show up here. |
