Modifications to Ratfink:
I ground off the hands and forearms from his rump then filled the openings created. I used the hands from the Mothers Worry kit as they seemed to be the most monster like. Both hands were reshaped to fit the block of cheese and mallet. Forearms were made from sheet plastic sanded to shape. Bumps and warts were made from five minute epoxy. I used Testors paints for all colors and a fine marker for the hair. The Block of cheese was made from sheet plastic and the mallet was carved from balsa wood with a wooden dowl handle. Finally drool was made from Five minute epoxy
Base:
The base is from an art supply store stained and varnished to look like some old floorboards in a house. The trap is a Rattrap from a hardware store. I smashed it with a large hammer then glued it to the base. Ed signed the base for me while attending a car show up here.

I have been a Roth fan since the early 60s .  Mysterion is by far my favorite car of all time.  I am building a 1/8 scale version (see photos) and have gathered parts to make a full  sized version that runs!  I am a degreed mechanical engineer so should be able to avoid Ed's fatal design errors; I will make my own fatal errors!

This is a 3 foot tall Rat Fink carved from basswood. I've been a fan of finkdom for a long time, and the completed fink greets visitors as they enter to see my fink collection.
He's an exact scaling from the original Rat Fink model kit complete with red jewel eyes and individually hand carved corian teeth.. This is the one carving I've never sold.
TO THE BEGINNING
"FINK ELIMINATOR" OR AS I LIKE TO CALL HIM STANLEY "MOUSE ELIMINATOR".                                                                                                     THIS NAME CAME ABOUT WHEN I SAW A FLIER FOR A MOUSE GALLERY SHOW WHICH READ "NO RAT FINKS" SO I BUILT THIS ONE ESPECIALLY AS A TRIBUTE TO THE MEMORYOF "BIG DADDY".
"MOUSE ELIMINATOR" IS PRETTY MUCH BOX STOCK, EXCEPT I MADE A TONGUE OUTOF SCULPEY CLAY (BECAUSE I DIDNT LIKE HIS ORIGINAL TONGUE) AND I ADDED THE MOUSE FROM THE "FRED FLYPOGGER AS SUPER FUZZ" KIT -I HEATED IT UP AND THEN FLATTENED IT WITH SOME PLIERS (INSTANT SATISFACTION).  I PAINTED HIM WITH ACRYLICS AND PUT A THICK COAT OF GLOSS.
